Electrolytic & electronic starter for cage motors

Electronic starter or electrolytic starter, AOIP offers both technologies to start and control a cage motor :

The electronic starter, designed to control all aspects of starting, stopping and protection of 3 phase squirrel cage motors : It has a user-friendly interface for quick programming of every application

The electrolytic starter, or Liquid Resistance Starter LRS : It supplies the power necessary to drive the cage motor by resistance variation.

Choosing the suitable electrolytic or electronic starter according to the power of the driven machine

  • For cage motors up to 1200 kW and 690 V: NOVADEM S3 (NS3) soft starters
  • For cage motors up to 750 kW: RED electrolytic starters
